My first stage in being a writing minor was the take the Gateway course. Throughout the course, I produced three major projects. Although the topics of the projects varied, the main goal of all was to explore my own writing by becoming familiar with my style and my writer-self. In addition, I contributed regularly to the Minor in Writing Blog to help further develop my voice. Check out my posts here. 

This class was definitely challenging because I was not simply bamming out essays for a random class. Rather, I was writing peices that were introspective and very personal. That being said, it was one of the most enjoyable classes that I have taken and it has undoubtely changed my identity as a writer.
